Website shopping can be a little scary.  There’s lots of technical terms and confusing jargon. It can be hard to know what you really need, or how much you should pay.

Our goal is to make things easier.

How Much Does a Website Cost?

Let’s be real:

Websites can range from incredibly cheap or insanely expensive.

Large companies regularly put millions of dollars into their websites.  While, other cobble together a website for next to nothing, utilizing various free services.

But you probably realize:

Free services almost always come with a catch, and extremely expensive services usually provide a diminishing return on your investment.

Is there a happy medium?

Of course.  For most small businesses, its usually somewhere between $600-$3000.

Now, this isn’t a hard-and-fast rule.  Some businesses need very complex websites that will cost well beyond that $3000 mark, but most businesses this is a good figure.

“Okay, so $600-$3000.  But much will my website cost?”

Of course everyone’s business is unique. I can’t tell you about much your website will cost without talking to you about the details.  But I can provide some ball-park figures, based on common situations.

If you need an information website.  Something simple, but well put-together,  to answer your clients questions and promote your company.  We can build your website using a template, for $600-$800.

If you want an e-commerce website.  A simple place to sell products online, expect to pay between $700-$1500.

If you need something a little more custom, we can design a beautiful custom website website for $1000-$2000.

Custom designed e-commerce websites cost just a little extra at $1500-$3000.

These are just rough, ball-park figures.  Every website is unique, but we understand website shopping can be confusing.

Some websites, are exceptionally large and need lots of complex features.  Such websites can cost between $3,000-$30,000.  However, this is more the exception than the rule, and we rarely send out bids that exceed $4000.

What about that $90 package I see up there?

Great question!  Often, we have clients with very small budgets and limited web experience.  The idea of going alone is completely overwhelming.  But with a little help, making a good website is actually within reach.

The package includes a one-on-one training with our lead designer.  Using screen-sharing software, he’ll show you the ropes, explain how to build pages and menus, and provide helpful advise, unique to your situation, so you get the best start possible!

What’s The Process Like?

Here’s what to expect…

You’ll call us up, and talk with a designer (like me).  I’ll ask you about your company, your goals, and your budget.

We’ll also talk about your message, and what features you need.  I’ll usually make sketches as we talk.  Once we have the details figured out, I can usually give you a rough quote over the phone.

After the phone call, I’ll send you an email summarizing what we talked about.  Depending on our discussion, I may also give you a formal bid.

You’ll sign the bid and send it back through email.  Once you send back the bid, we begin work.

If it’s a custom design, we’ll send you a carefully crafted preview-image first.  You’ll look it over, and request revisions.  Once everything is the way you want it, you give design approval and we start building the actual website.

If it’s a template-website, we skip this step and move straight into building the new website.  However, you still get to make revisions.

Once everything looks good.  You give your approval and we make the website live.


How do I get started?

Give us a call, and we will connect you with a designer! We can give you a rough idea of pricing within 10 minutes of a call, and you can decide if you want to continue further.

What is the design process like?

Our designers will work with you on the phone to make sure that the website bid is what you need. After you receive and approve the bid, we can begin working on your project. Our designer will work as far as he or she can until they require more information from you. Often, the biggest thing slowing down the design process is communication with our customers.

After the design is completed, the website will be built and staged on a subdomain of your choosing. Then, you can go and look around and test the features. Once you are satisfied with the finished product, we will make the necessary adjustments to make the website live!

When do I pay?

We require payment upfront for design work. If your project is completed and you aren’t satisfied, let us know and we will try our best to make it right.
